Despite eating that delicious grilled cheese sandwich I was still hungry and I had no problems getting some more delicious and cheap food at my next destination, Hoang's Grill & Sushi Bar. This place was so money it didn't even know it. You wouldn't believe the great specials.
Hoang's is a trendy and cozy sushi place with what is probably going to be my goto happy hour (Everyday, 4pm-7pm) in Falls Church. The special is great $1.25/piece sushi (Salmon, Red Snapper, White Tuna, Mackerel, Octopus, Tuna Maguro, Shrimp, Squid, Conch, Crab, & Egg).
For just $3 you can wash that sushi down with one of their 3 good craft beers on tap, I chose a nice Redhook Longhammer IPA over the Widmer Hefeweizen and the Kirin.
They also offered some other specials on food & drink including Tapas, which you can see on the restaurant page when it gets completed.
My favorite part about this place was that within 5 seconds of sitting down the bartender handed me a water, gave me the happy hour menu, and asked me if I wanted to watch sports. Yeah, this is my kind of place.
They had one dude preparing the sushi and he looked like a baw$, poor guy was swamped since the place was packed. Eventually my food came out and I scarfed down my 10 pieces in about 40 seconds.
The place has several tables but I liked the comfy bar area which had 3 standup bar tables and maybe 10 bar stools. It also had one TV which the bartender said was often on Caps games.
I really enjoyed this place, but it was time to move on on to the next one, like Jay-Z.
Note: I liked this place so much I went back the next day. Cray.
